Promote Your Own Book (For Writers/Authors at All Stages in the Writing Process)

At this workshop, authors will learn general information about the book world as well as tips on how to develop an Author PR Tool Kit, ensure your online presence is effective and help authors understand how their book genre will help focus their PR campaign. (45 mins. presentation/ 15-mins. Q & A)

Cherrie Woods is a 16-year plus PR veteran/author. Woods teaches author PR workshops at libraries, professional organizations and conferences throughout the U.S. She is the author of Where Do I Start?10 PR Questions and Answers to Guide Self-Published Authors and has been featured in The Baltimore Sun, Fox45-TV, WJZ-TV, MPT and SiriusXM. Her second book, Authors Behaving Badly: Confessions of an Indie Book Publicist will be released in Fall 2021.
