Program: Learn about the process to write and successfully publish a professional looking book from publishing expert Jim Brewster, President of J2B Publishing. Topics will include; learning about different writing styles, the basic genres of fiction, simple plot structure for your writing, the need for conflict in your narrative, and the specifics needed for your publishing and printing formats. At the end of the presentation you will know the steps involved and have the confidence to follow them, if you desire. 

*Each attendee will receive a copy of the presentation to keep as a reference, a coupon for a free picture book download, and permission to present one book idea to Jim Brewster.

Presenter: Jim Brewster is the President of J2B Publishing and the author of the Uncle Rocky, Officer Jack, and EMT Morales picture book series.  He became an author as a result of telling stories to his boys and a publisher as a result of talking to an illustrator. He has written over 20 picture books and his company has published over 100 books. At present he is refurbishing a sailboat so he can take his grandchildren sailing when their parents move to Annapolis this August

Presentation is open to all residents and anyone interested in writing Ages 12 - 99
