Have you ever thought about freelance writing? Scott Harris has been doing it for the past eight-plus years, and it's entirely possible he learned something about it at some point. During this talk, he'll share pointers and lessons from his own experiences to help you decide whether freelancing might be right for you.

Scott Harris is a freelance writer based in Frederick. He writes about health care, science and sports, among other topics, for various national and international media outlets. In his spare time he enjoys writing fiction, laughing with his daughters and searching for the perfect vegan chocolate chip cookie.
