Aaron Henkin has spent the past year documenting life in Baltimore, block by block, in his radio series, Out of the Blocks. The premise of each episode is simple: One hour of radio. One city block. Everybody’s story.
He’ll talk with MWA about taking a journalistic leap of faith, tolerating ambiguity, abandoning any agenda, and trusting in the wisdom of strangers. Henkin will share audio and photos from his project, and he’ll encourage a group dialogue about innovative methodologies for creative nonfiction.
We will be meeting at the Cockeysville Recreation Center [Across the street from Cockeysville Library at Padonia Elementary]

DIRECTIONS: Take 83 North to Padonia Rd [turn right] or take Beltway to York Road Go North. Turn right E Padonia Rd., then turn left onto Greenside Drive [9836 is on the left across the street from Cockysville Library].
