Goal Setting Discussion + Author Bio Workshop

Two great topics in one meeting. The first hour will be devoted to an open discussion about writing goals and what they may look life as we enter a new year along with tips on how we can be held accountable to those goals. 

The second hour will be an interactive author bio workshop. This workshop is for any author/poet/writer wanting to learn more about the art of writing a 2 sentence, 100 word, and 200+ word bio. Info will cover why it's important to have different versions and what should be included and what can omitted, plus extra tips for those who are debut authors without a book published yet. Worksheets and examples will be provided, but it is recommended to bring a notebook or laptop to take notes.  

Carroll Chapter Meetings always held on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 1:00 - 3:00 in person, at the Finksburg library in Finksburg Library. If there is a chance of inclement weather, pay attention to your local weather stations, the MWA Facebook page, and/or the library website/social media for closures or cancellations.
