DirectionsWhat do you feel about writing today? Tonight, we will have an open discussion on writing in today's political climate. Rod Deacey will begin with a Pushcart nominated poem by Kari Martindale. Bring your poems, other's poems, writings, and thoughts on poetry or prose and politics.
An open mic will follow. Each reader will get six minutes or four poems, whichever comes first. If there is time after, each participant can read one poem if they choose. Email [email protected] to be added to the open mic list. You can also let the host know you'd like to read during the event.
