Selling More Books at Fairs - Did you exhibit at the Kensington Day of the Book in April? This event is as good as you can get in terms of potential book sales. With an anticipated crowd of 10,000 over 5 hours and good weather, live bands, cooking demos, and other events, it was busy, busy, busy. It was also highly competitive. I did very well that day and took some time to analyze why. I’ll share what I think contributed to my sales and hope you can provide more ideas on what works for you.

Eileen McIntire, MWA past president, is the author of the 90s Club cozy mystery series, three historical novels, and a novel of psychological suspense. She owns Summit Crossroads Press, which publishes parenting books and first person memoirs, and its fiction imprint, Amanita Books. As former development director for a professional association and as publisher and author, she has attended many trade shows over 38 years and picked up some tips along the way.
