Carroll Chapter October Meeting
Oct. 12th - 1:00-3:00. Topic - Writer's Fears with Guest Speaker Amy Bernstein
Amy's new book (soon to be released), Wrangling the Doubt Monster: Fighting Fears, Finding Inspiration, attendees will enjoy an interactive workshop with a practical side, designed to help aspiring and established writers (and other creative people) who long to claim an artistic identity and launch and sustain an artistic practice. Writers at all levels struggle with crippling self-doubts that interfere with their ability to make art and carry projects to fruition. Through guided discussion and group and individual exercises, participants will acquire skills for coping with doubt and come away with renewed confidence, commitment, and inspiration. There will be ample time for Q&A.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is for adults of any age who are writing or long to become writers, but feel afraid
or psychologically blocked from doing so. This is also for established artists who shy away from
taking deeper risks in their artistic practices, and who need encouragement to do so.
