We hope you can join us as Nishi Chawla will speak on:

My journey from an Academician and a Writer to an independent filmmaker: The Challenges and Joys of straddling Diverse Genres.

It seems a bit inconceivable at first glance, that an academician and a writer would write, direct, and produce four feature films, three of which are on major streaming platforms, and the fourth one is with a distributor. Dr Nishi Chawla, who has taught for forty years and published thirteen books, could never imagine that she would become a filmmaker so late in life. Dr Nishi Chawla will discuss the challenges, surprises, and delights of navigating various artistic genres and disciplines.
