Frederick Arts Council Literature Night

Join writers and poets at a community event: Frederick Arts Council Literature Night

If you live within driving distance of Frederick, Maryland, you may want to catch MWA poets Rod Deacey and Claudia Gary in action on
Tuesday, Oct 13 at 7pm at Frederick's best venue, the artwork that is SKY STAGE (59 S. Carroll St, Frederick MD 21701).

This is Deacey's 9th annual show with his backing band The DC Beats for the Frederick Arts Council's Literature Night. Regional favorite poets Claudia Gary, Luther Jett, and Indran Amirthanayagam open the evening, followed by Rod Deacey's beat poetry, recalling the poetry and jazz sessions of the beat poets in the late fifties and early sixties. Definitely a unique event -- not to be missed!
