MWA Quick Notes, February, 2025: Events, Publishing Opportunities, and More
Greetings, Artful MWA Constituent!
From the office of MWA's Executive Committee President, hello and welcome to February 2025! This is often the coldest, dreariest month of the year, which can have a dampening effect on the average spirit, but writers are not average people, so I know you will find inspiration in the gloom or, alternatively, in the occasional break of sunshine through those overhanging clouds!
This month's calendar (linked below) is chocked full of good stuff, and I hope you find time to treat yourself to some MWA February fellowship. Perhaps you will feed something back to us all by submitting to our outstanding newsletter or our wonderful journal, Pen In Hand.
Tomorrow, we start the month with a brief discussion and tutorial of "Prompt-Generated Media Using Artificial Intelligence" and its utility to Maryland writers (via Zoom, register to attend here). I will record and transcribe the session for those who cannot attend. I hope to see you there!
Next, the boilerplate....

If your profile requires a bit of grooming, tend your Association business via our website. If your membership expires this month, be certain to renew it to continue enjoying all these wonderful resources.
Finally, when you enjoy all that MWA has to offer and you feel someone needs a shout-out, you can always nominate your local Leadership Superstar.
