Second Author Showcase Set for Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023 

MWA’s Second Author Showcase in cooperation with The Last Word Bookstore, Savage Mill, will be held Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023 from 1 to 4 p.m.

This is your opportunity to promote, sell, and sign your latest book. Each author will have 5 minutes to discuss their book and offer a brief reading.

To be eligible, the author must meet the following critieria:

• Be an MWA Member in good standing 
• The book must have been published after Jan. 1, 2023 
• First 20 eligible authors to respond will be selected at the committee’s discretion. 
• Members who participated in the first Author Showcase on April 1 are not eligible.

Timing is critical. The first 20 eligible authors to respond will be selected at the committee’s discretion.

Authors will have 2 feet of table space to display their books and must bring their books for sale on consignment at the bookstore. Each author will have a 5-minute slot on the program in which to discuss their book and to offer a brief reading. We will introduce you with the bio you submit.

Authors must arrive by 12:30 and stay until after 4 to be available to discuss and sign their books. They will take home any books that do not sell.
